Open Classes
Go to Old → Core → Classes. The existing standalone Core list remains available; the separate School Setup workflow is unchanged.
Classic opens first unless you saved another choice. Try the new layout and View old layout switch both ways; Make this my default or Make old layout my default saves your own institute-specific choice shared by Classes, Sections and Sessions. Explicit layout links override that choice for the visit. A failed save preserves the previous default and offers Retry. Switching the same page retains its unsaved draft without saving it; choosing another list does not save the draft.
Review and files
Search and column filters retain case-insensitive substring matching. Headers retain numeric-aware ascending/descending sorting. Excel and PDF include all matching sorted rows across pages with the original columns and filenames. Browser Print includes the displayed local page and existing form, not every matching page. There is no dedicated report Print action or new CSV export.
Existing actions
Create, Edit, Cancel and confirmed Delete retain original validation, permissions, requests and server restrictions. Loading/saving or a failed list blocks stale actions; Retry reloads the original list. Changing layout grants no access and sends no messages.
Use Classes
Create retains the existing comma-separated class names note. A class must be linked to a campus using Campus-Classes before it is offered for admission. Linked records can prevent deletion; the existing server message is shown.
