Open News Management
Open General → News Management when it is available to your staff account. News Management is an existing staff page available only when your current staff account has access. It is not a general school publishing page. Choosing a layout does not grant publishing permission or add a new menu link.
Choose your layout
Classic opens first unless you save another default. Use Try the new layout or View old layout to switch. A layout in the page address takes priority for that visit. If saving a default fails, your previous choice remains; try saving again. Switching keeps the same page and its current choices.
Keep the news controls
The same news list and existing create, update and delete controls remain, with the same staff access checks. Switching views does not publish or change a news item. Existing descriptions, loading and error behavior remain.
