Which parts of a result card can a school brand?
Result cards in EDUBase are themed and carry your school's own branding. The same print templates and branding settings used for ID cards and reports also apply to result cards, so everything a parent receives looks like it came from the same school.
Branding is set once and reused. You do not need to redesign each card before every term.

Examinations & Results offers several report designs, so the layout matches how your school assesses students. You can print a card for a single month's tests, a subject-focused view, a full term, or a combined report that brings several exams together.
Test types and weightage decide how monthly tests, mid-term, final and any custom exam type add up to term totals, so a combined card reflects your own assessment policy.

What information appears on the card besides the design?
The content of the card comes from your exam setup rather than being typed onto the card. That keeps the card consistent with award lists and Examination Reports.
Grading policies can be school-wide or class-specific, with your own grade bands and pass marks. Class and section positions can be shown, and you can choose to count positions only among students who passed every subject. Optional and elective subjects assigned to individual students appear on that child's card.
How do we set up and print branded result cards?
The steps follow the order of the Examinations menu. Once the setup is done, each term only needs marks entry and printing.
- Define subjects and subject groups and attach them to classes.
- Set test types, weightage and your grading policy.
- Create award lists per class, subject and exam and enter marks.
- Apply your logo, colour theme and signatures in the print templates and branding settings.
- Choose the report design and print, or export to Excel.
What if we need a layout that is not available?
Some schools have a board format or a long-standing card design they want to keep. EDUBase's custom development service adds new features and options to meet an institution's requirements, so a specific result card requirement can be discussed with the EDUBase team.
Share a sample of your current card when you raise the request, so the team can see exactly which fields and arrangement you need.
How do parents receive results?
Besides the printed card, marks can be shared with parents through the Parents App. You can enter results now and keep them hidden until you release them, for example at PTM time. Marks SMS can also be sent in the same step as marks entry on the award list.
