Open the admission form
Open General → Extras → All Students, then choose Add Student. Existing access permissions remain unchanged.
Choose your layout
Classic opens first unless you save another default. Use Try the new layout or View old layout to switch. A layout in the page address takes priority for that visit. If saving a default fails, your previous choice remains; try saving again. Switching keeps your current form entries while this page stays open.
Keep the original admission form
Student details, admission numbers, family choices, dates, status, subjects, contacts, visitors, photo and attachment controls keep their existing behavior. Changing views does not submit the admission form, upload a file or send a message.
Use the same save choices
Save and Go Back, Save and Add New, and Save and View keep their existing behavior. Message choices and their confirmation remain unchanged. The layout choice adds no new Save, Retry, Print or approval step. The original loading, validation, pending and error behavior remains unchanged.
