Choose your Class Grading Policy layout

Choose an assessment layout while keeping original rules and save scopes.

Open Class Grading Policy

Open Exam → Class Grading Policy. The existing standalone screen and matching More Settings embedded screen use the same engine and access checks.

Choose your layout

Classic opens first unless another assessment layout default is saved. Try the new layout and View old layout switch both ways; the saved institute choice is shared by Grading Policy, Class Grading Policy and Test Type Weightage. Explicit layout links override it for a visit, and failed preference saves retain the previous choice with Retry. Inside More Settings, switching keeps that container, selected item, query, hash, state and same mounted form draft. Ordinary child navigation is unchanged. Layout switching does not save an assessment record.

Review and files

The original forms and create, edit and confirmed delete callbacks remain. Local search and column filters retain the original substring/AND behavior; headers keep two-state numeric sorting. Consecutive matching policy labels have merged cells, recalculated at each page boundary. Excel and PDF include all matching rows, not only the displayed page. Browser Print uses the visible page with plain repeated headings; no new dedicated Print action is added.

Create assigns the selected policy to all selected classes. Edit updates one existing assignment. The campus-dependent class choices, exclusion query and original payloads remain.

Loading and failed choices

Loading, saving or failed metadata blocks authored form and grid callbacks; stale grids and print output are hidden. Retry repeats only the failed list or dependent-choice query. Existing modal Cancel remains available after a failure. Original field types, validation, identifiers and mutation rules stay unchanged.

No permission is granted and no message is sent by choosing a layout.
