Open Late Fee Fine
Go to Old → Core → Late Fee Fine. This is the policy list, not a new charge or automation action.
Original policy
Original Active-campus/options selections, required validation, confirmation and raw payloads remain. Max Limit 0 still results in zero fine. When Calculate on next payment is unchecked, the original payload omits that field: this does not clear a previously enabled server value. The original documentation link and policy calculation remain. The list is capped at 1000 loaded rows; files and filters apply to those loaded records, not an assumed complete school dataset. Existing permissions and server restrictions remain.
Metadata and Retry
Campus/options queries must be ready before modern controls or the first grid mount. A failed dependency blocks actions; Retry reloads only failed metadata, and the list when its own query failed. Cancel remains available to recover a dialog.
Choose a layout
Classic opens first unless you saved another institute-specific default. Try the new layout and View old layout switch both ways. Make this my default or Make old layout my default saves the choice; explicit links override it for a visit. A failed preference save keeps the previous default with Retry. The same mounted engine keeps form drafts; the Discount Types drawer also keeps its outer container and selected resource, query, hash and state. Layout choice grants no permissions and sends no messages.
Review and files
Original substring search and column filters, numeric-aware two-state sorting and original row records remain. Excel/PDF include every matching loaded row across local pages; browser Print includes the displayed page and original form. No dedicated report Print action is added. Pending or failed queries guard stale controls, paging, export and print. The first grid waits for successful metadata; later refreshes retain mounted drafts with actions guarded. Retry repeats failed reads without saving or deleting.
