You can open an EDUBase account for your school yourself, online, in about two minutes. You need a mobile phone with WhatsApp. No card and no payment are needed to start.
Step 1 — Your mobile number
Open edubaseems.com and choose Sign up (or open the sign-up link from our advert). Type your mobile number, for example 0300 1234567, and press Send my code. Numbers starting with +92 or 92 are fine too.
Step 2 — The 6-digit code
Our team sends you a 6-digit code on WhatsApp, usually within a few minutes. Type it into the six boxes, or copy it and paste it into the first box — all six fill in by themselves.
- No code yet? Wait for the timer, then press Send a new code. Always use the newest code.
- A code works for a limited time. After too many wrong tries you have to start again with your number.
Step 3 — About your school
Type your school's full name, choose roughly how many students you have, and type your city. Use my location is optional: it only helps us know where your school is. If your phone asks for permission and you say no, that is fine — just type the city.
EDUBase is free for schools with up to 100 students. Every page starts simple: rarely used options sit under Advanced settings on each page, and anyone can show them with one click (Advanced settings).
Next to the school name you can add your school logo (optional): press + Logo and choose a PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG picture up to 2 MB. You see it straight away; Remove takes it off. Your new school then shows it on your dashboard, your fee challans and printed pages. You can skip it and add or change it any time in Institute Setup.
Step 4 — Your school is set up
A bar at the top shows each step: reserving your Institute Code, creating your school's database, creating your admin login, adding sample data, and ready. Watch the short welcome video while you wait; Continue turns on when your school is ready.
Step 5 — Save your login details
You will see three things. You need all three every time you sign in:
- Institute Code — your school's own code (letters from your school's name plus a number).
- Username — admin for the first login.
- Password — shown only once.
Press Copy details and paste them somewhere safe, for example a WhatsApp message to yourself, or write them down. Then press Continue and you are signed in to your school. These details are shown only once on this screen.
Sample data
Your new school comes with a few sample classes, students and staff so you can try everything straight away. A blue box on your dashboard asks what to do with them: Keep it, or Remove sample data when you are ready to add your own. Removing deletes only the sample rows, never anything you added yourself. Only the school admin can make this choice.
Your email — add it within 14 days
Your mobile number is already confirmed by the WhatsApp code, so after Continue you go straight to your dashboard. A small card there says Add your email: please add it, because Forgot password sends the reset link to that email. Not now hides the card until your next sign-in. After 14 days EDUBase asks for your email when you sign in, before you can continue.
Signing in later
Go to the EDUBase sign-in page, type your Institute Code, then your username and password. If you forget the password, use Forgot password on the sign-in page.
The apps
EDUBase also has an Owner App (your whole school on your phone), a Teacher App and a Parents App. Sign in to them with the same Institute Code.
