Open a campus editor
Open Old → Exam → SMS Template and click the campus Edit pencil. Check the campus shown before editing.
Choose your layout
Classic opens first unless you save another default. Try the new layout and View old layout switch both ways. A layout in the page address takes priority for that visit. Failed default saves keep the previous choice and offer Retry. The choice is shared by the campus list and editor. Switching views keeps your current filters or draft and page address; it does not update a template or send a message. Existing access remains unchanged.
Edit existing template text
Keep the existing Marks, Attendance, Admission and General SMS template fields and tag lists. Click a tag to copy it, then paste it into the relevant template. Tags keep their existing meaning. Update saves all template fields together for this campus; it does not send a message from this page. The existing pending state disables Update until the request finishes.
Keep your draft
Switching layouts keeps entered text. A replacement response for the campus still refreshes its fields as before. Check your text before pressing Update.
Loading and recovery
Retry SMS template reads reloads failed required data for the current campus. The new view temporarily hides the loaded form and protects its controls while required reads are loading or failed; your entered text is kept for recovery. A failed update is not replayed automatically; use the original Update button when you are ready.
Native Print
Native Print keeps the existing rendered fields and control visibility. No new paper format or export is added.
