In EDUBase, result cards are produced by setting up subjects, test types, weightage and grading once, entering marks on award lists per class, subject and exam, then printing themed result cards in your school's branding, with grades, positions and pass rules applied automatically.
What must be set up before result cards can print?
A result card is only as correct as the exam setup behind it. In EDUBase the Examinations module asks you to define these things once per session, after which every exam of the year reuses them.
Most schools complete this setup during onboarding and then only adjust weightage or grade bands when policy changes.

How are marks entered for a class?
Marks go in through award lists. You create an award list for a class, a subject and an exam, and the teacher or the exam clerk enters or updates the marks on that screen. Combined award lists cover several subjects at once when that suits the school.
Marks SMS can be sent to parents in the same step as entry, so families hear the result without a separate task. Every award list can be printed or exported to Excel if the school also keeps a paper record.

How do I generate and print the result cards themselves?
Once marks are entered, result cards are generated from the Examinations menu. EDUBase offers themed result cards and report designs — month-wise, subject-wise, term-wise and combined — all carrying school branding and custom signatures.
Positions and pass rules are applied by the system. Class and section positions can optionally be counted only among students who passed every subject, so a strong average does not outrank a student who cleared all papers.
Cards print as branded PDFs, so they can be printed in batches for a whole class or section and handed out at the result day or PTM.

Can I hold results back until PTM?
Yes. Examinations includes a setting to show or hide marks in the Parents App. Staff can complete data entry days in advance and release the results to parents only when the school is ready — commonly at the parent-teacher meeting, so the conversation happens with the teacher rather than over the phone.
Printed cards and app release are independent: you can print the cards for the file and still keep the app view closed until the release date.

What else prints around exam time?
The same Examinations menu handles the paperwork that surrounds a results cycle, so the exam office does not need a separate system.
