In EDUBase you can print the Admission form blank, for parents to fill by hand, or filled, with the student's details already entered. The form is configurable and carries guardian details, family number, session, fee plan and photo.
What is the EDUBase admission form?
The Admission form is part of Student Management & Admissions. It is a configurable form that collects the details a school needs when a child joins: guardian details, family number, session, fee plan and photo.
Because it is the same form the rest of the system reads from, fees, attendance and exams all see the same child once the admission is saved. You do not retype the details later in another screen.
When should you print a blank form?
A blank form suits the front office when a parent visits, takes the form home and returns it completed. It is also useful for open days, phone enquiries that turn into visits, and any family who prefers to write by hand first.
Staff can then enter the returned form into the system. Recording the family earlier as an enquiry is also possible: Admission enquiries lets you keep walk-in and phone enquiries before they become students, and convert them when the family confirms.
- Walk-in parents who want to fill the form at home
- Open days or admission drives where many forms are handed out
- Families who have enquired but not yet confirmed
When should you print a filled form?
A filled form is printed after the student's details are in the system. It gives the parent a copy to check and sign, and gives the school a paper file that matches the record.
It is also handy when a parent asks for a copy later, or when a file needs to be handed to a trustee or auditor with the admission details visible.
- Parent verification and signature after data entry
- A paper file for the student's folder
- A reprint when a family asks for their copy
How do you print it, step by step?
The exact screens depend on how your school has set up its menus and rights, so follow the steps in this order. If you are unsure, the built-in AI assistant can answer in English or Roman Urdu and link you to the exact screen.
- Open the admission area of Student Management & Admissions in the web portal.
- For a blank copy, choose the printable blank Admission form and print it.
- For a filled copy, open the student's admission record and choose the filled print option.
- Check the preview for the photo, guardian details, family number, session and fee plan.
- Print on school letterhead or save as PDF to share.
How can the form carry your school's branding?
Printouts such as admission forms, student cards, certificates and letters are produced from print templates that your school controls. A branding setting applies your logo, colours and signatures across cards, result cards and reports.
Setting this once means every campus hands out forms that look the same. Multi-campus schools can keep each campus working from the same set-up.
What should be ready before you print?
Printing is quick when the supporting settings are in place. A filled form only shows what has been entered, so a missing photo or an unassigned fee plan will show as empty.
- Classes, sections and sessions set up under School Setup & Multi-Campus
- Admission Capacity set, so a full class stops or goes to approval
- A fee plan available to assign to the child
- Family number linked, so siblings sit under one family
