Open the page
Open Extras → Add Bulk Students in the mobile menu. This page keeps its existing access rules; access to Upload Students does not add a new permission here.
Choose your layout
Classic opens first unless you save another default. Use Try the new layout or View old layout to switch. A layout in the page address takes priority for that visit. Failed default saves keep the previous choice and offer Retry. Switching views keeps your current entries and page address; it does not import or save students. Existing access remains unchanged.
Choose the student scope
Choose Campus, Class, Section, Group/Discipline, Session, Fee Plan and City as needed. Changing Campus clears the selected Class and Section; changing Class clears Section. Class and Fee Plan depend on Campus, and Section depends on Class. Keep these choices consistent with the students you enter.
Enter student rows
Fill Name, Gender, Roll No., Admission Date, Father Name and Father Contact. Follow the Gender hint shown above the rows. Add More creates another blank row; pressing Enter in the last row also adds a row and moves focus to it. The row trash button removes that entered row. No student search, sorting, selection or export is added.
Save
Save submits the current rows directly without an added confirmation. Wait while Saving is shown. Success clears the entry rows back to one blank row; failure keeps the entries and shows the original error. Check your selected scope before saving. Failed saves are not replayed automatically.
Keep your draft
Switching views keeps your selected scope and entered rows. It does not create students or change your permissions.
Loading and recovery
Wait for the required Campus, Class, Section, Group, Session, Fee Plan and Gender choices that apply to your selected scope. If one of these reads fails, use Retry student entry reads to reload the failed choices. The new view hides the entry form while required choices are loading or have failed, and keeps your entered rows for recovery. While a save is pending, the form stays visible with its protected controls disabled. City is optional: a failed City list shows a warning and a Retry option without adding a new Save restriction. Failed saves are not replayed automatically.
Native Print
Native Print keeps the original rendered rows and control visibility. No new paper format or export is added.
