Open Balance Sheet
Go to Finance → Balance Sheet. The new workspace has Assets, Liabilities and Equity section tabs.
Classic opens first unless you saved another choice. Try the new layout and View old layout switch both ways. Make this my default or Make old layout my default saves your own institute-specific choice for this report; other users keep theirs. Explicit layout links override the saved choice for that visit. Failed saves preserve the previous default and offer Retry.
Apply dates and Campus
The initial period is the first of this month through today. Choose From/To and Campus, then Get Record. From must not exceed To. Draft controls leave the loaded report unchanged; repeated Get Record refreshes the same criteria. Retry reloads both original financial requests, or retries failed campus options. Pending/error hides stale rows and print content; an applied Campus outside the current campus switch must be changed before submission.
Understand the existing campus scope
Balances follow the page Campus and global campus switch. The secondary Profit & Loss request follows the page Campus and permitted active campuses but does not receive the global switch selection. When the global switch narrows scope and the page Campus is blank, those two figures can cover different permitted scopes. The workspace shows a notice for this case. Choose the same explicit Campus here and in the campus switch to align them before comparing figures. This inherited request behavior is preserved; it does not grant wider access.
Read and Print original figures
Original ordered group/account rows, group totals, zero values, negative red brackets, GL links and the Profit & Loss addition to equity remain. Complete totals are independent of section search and pagination. Browser Print includes every original loaded group, account and branding, regardless of tabs, search or pages. No new Print action, sorting or export is added. This presentation does not post, edit balances or change access.
