Choose your layout
Classic opens first unless you save another default. Try the new layout and View old layout switch both ways. A layout in the page address takes priority for that visit. Failed default saves keep your previous choice and offer Retry. Switching on this page keeps its draft fields and page address. Other links keep their original handling.
Original edit scope
Keep using the original campus, transaction date and account lines. Add More and line removal retain their original behavior. Save keeps the existing balanced, nonzero and allowed-date checks and whole-rupee amounts. Existing entry types, access and save rules remain unchanged. The original Save destination remains unchanged.
Loading and recovery
The new layout hides stale values while required entry reads are loading or have failed. Retry reloads failed reads. If the server date cannot be read, recovery reloads the page. While Save is pending, controls remain disabled and the draft is retained. Switching layouts does not save an entry.
