Choose your layout
Classic opens first unless you save another default. Try the new layout and View old layout switch both ways. A layout in the page address takes priority for that visit. Failed default saves keep your previous choice and offer Retry. Switching this page keeps its unsaved form draft, query values and # link without saving.
Original rules and scope
Keep the original salary-head name, type and four switches. Reserved heads can be renamed, but their type cannot change and they cannot be deleted. Search, column filters and sorting retain the original rules. Excel and PDF include all matching loaded rows; Browser Print includes the displayed page and original form. Inside HRM Settings, switching also keeps the settings page and selected item. This screen does not set salary amounts or send messages.
Loading and recovery
In the new layout, loading, saving or failed queries hide stale content and print and block editing. Retry loads the same configuration again. Existing permissions and confirmations remain unchanged.
