Open HRM SMS Templates
Open Old → SMS Templates → HRM SMS Templates. You can also open Core Settings → HRM Settings → SMS Templates.
Choose your layout
Classic opens first unless another default is saved. Try the new layout and View old layout switch both ways. A layout specified in the page address takes priority for that visit. If saving a default fails, your previous default stays in place and Retry is offered.
Switching on this page keeps your unsaved text and the current page address, including its query values and # link. Inside HRM Settings, it also keeps the same settings page and selected item. Switching does not save your wording.
Edit the original wording
This page has 17 templates. Use the campus, attendance, employee and salary tags with the matching template. Clicking a tag copies it so you can paste it into your text. Update saves the original template settings; blank fields remain blank. This page does not send messages. The existing Update access remains unchanged.
Loading and recovery
In the new layout, editing is unavailable while templates load or save. If loading fails, old fields and print stay hidden. Retry loads the templates again. No new message or financial action is added.
Browser Print
Browser Print keeps the template values. The new layout also prints the tag text, while Update stays hidden. The checked example uses three pages; long salary-template text can still be clipped in the original print. In classic layout, tags are hidden when opened directly and visible from HRM Settings. Changing the layout does not change that original classic behavior.
