Your layout, your choice
Original pages open first unless you have saved another default. On supported pages, press Try the new layout. Trying it does not change your default.
In the new view, press Make this my default to keep it for your own sign-in at this institute. View old layout always opens the original page. There you can press Make old layout my default to restore the original as your usual view. A link that explicitly names a layout opens that layout.
Your choice applies to that page or its combined workflow. It does not change another user's layout. If saving fails, try again; your previous default remains. Earlier browser choices are carried over only when they belong to an identifiable user. Shared guest choices are not carried over.
Student attendance in one place
Go to Exam & Attendance → Student Attendance → Take Attendance or View/Update Attendance, then try the new layout. Use the two view links to mark unmarked students or review saved records.
Choose dates and narrow the grid. Save only checked rows inside the active filters. In View / update, only changed rows are updated. Attendance already saved disappears from Take attendance and is available in View / update.
Changing dates or leaving the new register asks before discarding unsaved attendance edits. Keep editing to retain them. Failed saves keep your changes available for retry. Notifications are optional; parent-app notifications start unchecked in the new view. Select the notification options only when you intend to contact parents. The original view keeps its existing behavior.
Fee Plans
Under Admissions → Create Fee Plans, View/Edit Fee Plans or Manage Fee Plans, try the combined Fee Plans layout. All three routes share your Fee Plans default. The named Manage Fee Plans (New) entry keeps the new view when no default or explicit layout is chosen. Manage Fee Plans keeps its current Create or View/Edit tab when you switch between old and new. The original separate pages remain available.
How adoption is counted
Earlier trials and default actions were saved only in browsers, so historical totals are unavailable. Tracking now distinguishes viewing, pressing Try, saving a new default, and importing an earlier browser choice. Imported choices are not counted as new trial or default actions. Counts exclude internal staff and the test institute.
