Choose your layout
Classic opens first unless you save another default. Try the new layout and View old layout switch both ways. A layout in the page address takes priority for that visit. Failed default saves keep your previous choice and offer Retry. Switching keeps the same page draft, query values and # link without saving.
Original rules and scope
Save Settings and Save Series remain separate. Prefix, Start at, Digits and On keep their original rules. Save Series includes configured or edited scopes even when a campus is folded. Clearing a stored start number keeps the original switch-off confirmation. Fill blanks keeps its separate confirmation for enrolled students without a roll number; existing numbers stay unchanged. It changes student roll numbers only after the existing action is confirmed. Browser Print follows the original rendered campus folds and input values. No new suffix field, search, paging, sorting or export is added.
Loading and recovery
In the new layout, loading, saving or failed queries hide stale content and print and block editing. Retry loads the same configuration again. Existing permissions and confirmations remain unchanged.
