Open Salary Details
Open the existing /hrm/salary-report address. This legacy page has no current menu shortcut added by this change.
Choose your layout
Classic opens first unless you save another default. Try the new layout and View old layout switch both ways. A layout in the page address takes priority for that visit. Failed default saves keep the previous choice and offer Retry. Switching views keeps your current form drafts and page address. Existing access checks and financial rules remain unchanged.
Original report and print requests
Choose the original employee and From/To months, then use View Salaries for the original report request. Print uses its original month range and designation grouping choices; its request does not inherit the selected employee field from View Salaries. The displayed report and data controls remain excluded from printed output. The existing PrintArea preview is the printable scope, with its original hide choices and Close control. No new employee filter is added to the print request, and switching layouts does not issue another report or print request.
Loading and recovery
The new view temporarily disables controls while required salary data is loading or an action is pending. Retry salary reads reloads the failed required data for the current view. Classic retains its original loading and error presentation. Action failures keep their original buttons for a deliberate retry; changing layouts does not automatically repeat a calculation, payment, save or print request.
Native Print
Native Print keeps the existing printable scope, margins and control visibility. No new paper format, export or permission is added.
