Open Update Student Attendance Fine
Open Old → Student Attendance Fine, then use the existing Update action.
Choose your layout
Classic opens first unless another default is saved. Try the new layout and View old layout switch both ways. This family shares its own layout choice across the list, Create, Update and View. Explicit layout links override the saved default for a visit. Failed preference saves retain the previous choice and offer Retry.
Switching on the same child keeps its identifier, query values, hash, navigation state and same mounted form engine. Existing list actions and Back links remain their original bare destinations. List filters and page position may reset when switching layouts.
Original rules and recovery
Update retains raw Allowed and Fine After Allowed strings; Campus and Attendance Acronym stay locked. The original strict identifier match, zero-to-blank and missing-option behavior remain, including an unset acronym with Update disabled. This layout does not repair inherited record/options inconsistencies. Loading, saving or failed record/options metadata hides stale fields and print and blocks cached callbacks. Retry repeats failed queries. Original missing-ID/error navigation remains.
Browser Print
Original form fields or all saved View values remain in browser Print; added help/context and original hidden actions stay excluded. No new dedicated Print, export, permission, message or financial action is added. Layout switching does not save a record.
