Open the tool
Users with existing permission can open Core Settings → Import Demo Account Settings. Existing access permissions remain unchanged.
Choose your layout
Classic opens first unless you save another default. Use Try the new layout or View old layout to switch. A layout in the page address takes priority for that visit. If saving a default fails, your previous choice remains; try saving again. Switching keeps your current choices and entries while this page stays open.
Choose what to copy
Use the existing three steps to choose settings, campuses and logins. Skip leaves a section alone. Add missing keeps existing settings and adds missing ones. Replace with demo is available only when your existing permission allows it.
Preview before importing
Use Preview to review what would change. Changing your choices clears the previous preview, so preview the new choices before importing. Import what the preview shows remains unavailable without an eligible preview. The result shows what the existing import completed.
Loading and recovery
The original Try again action remains available if the initial options cannot load. This layout adds no new Retry, preview or import action. Switching layout does not import settings.
