Open General → Front Desk → Gate Entry.
Choose your layout
Classic opens first unless you save another default. Try the new layout and View old layout switch both ways. A layout in the page address takes priority for that visit. Failed default saves keep your previous choice and offer Retry. Switching on this page keeps the current inputs and page address. Other links keep their original destinations. Switching views does not submit a gate action or issue an exit pass.
Original scope
The board refreshes every 20 seconds. Walk-in Entry keeps the original name, mobile, office, campus and purpose fields. Scheduled Meetings checks registered visitors in. Student Exit records the actual departure of a student with an authorised pass. Inside now and recent activity keep their original returned scope. Full screen remains reversible. For a gate-only login, Sign out remains available.
Loading and recovery
Required reads and pending actions disable data controls. A failed read offers Retry for that read and hides stale board content. Full screen and Sign out remain usable during a failed board read. Original permissions remain unchanged. Browser Print keeps the original rendered board; no new export or paging control is added.
