Everything in EDUBase hangs off the Core menu. Build it top-down: a campus, then classes, then sections, then the fee plan. Each step depends on the one above it, so doing them out of order is why a screen looks empty.
The order
- Core › City — add your city. A campus needs one.
- Core › Campus — add the school (or each branch, if you have more than one).
- Core › Classes — add every class. You can type several at once, comma separated.
- Core › Campus-Classes — tick which classes exist at which campus. A class you just created is on no campus until you do this.
- Core › Sections — add your section names (Red, Green, Blue / A, B, C).
- Core › Manage Sections in Classes — tick which sections exist in which class, per campus.
- Core › Sessions — add the session label you want on student records.
- Core › Fee Plan List — name your fee plans (for example Regular, Staff Child, Sibling).
- Core › Manage Fee Plan Lists in Campus — tick which plan is available at which campus.
- Core › Fee Particulars in Fee Plan List — tick which charges belong to each plan.
- Core › Particulars Amount and Repeating Months — set the amount and which months each charge repeats in.
Only after step 11 can you admit students and generate a challan that has the right amount on it.
The step everyone skips
Step 4. Creating a class does not put it on a campus. Until you tick it there, nothing you created at step 3 is usable — and step 6 works the same way for sections.
If a later screen looks empty, the cause is almost always a skipped attach step above it.
