A campus is a physical branch: every class, section, fee plan and student belongs to one. They are listed on Core › Campus, and a new one is made on Core › Campus › Create. Naya campus add karna hai, ya school ki doosri branch kholni hai — both start here.
Only the EDUBase team can create a campus
The Create Campus button is shown only to EDUBase staff logins. A school login does not see it, and if the create form is reached anyway the save is refused with You are not authorized to create campus! Please contact EDUBase Team. The Delete button on the list is shown to EDUBase staff only as well, and a campus that already has students cannot be deleted at all. So to add a branch, tell support the campus name and city — they add it in a minute — and then do the attach steps below yourself.
Editing an existing campus is not restricted: press the edit icon on the row to change its name, city, contact, address, logo, colours and status.
Steps
- Ask support to add the new campus (name and city are required; the campus name must be unique across the school)
- When it appears on Core › Campus, open it and fill the rest — email, contact, address, website, slogan, established date, logo
- Attach classes and sections to it, then fee plans — a brand-new branch starts completely empty and stays unusable until each is ticked across
What the create form holds
Campus Name and City (add the city first on Core › City), Institute Name, Short Name, Established Date, Status (Active / Inactive), Email, Contact, Address, Slogan, Website, a logo (JPG or PNG) and the four Branding Theme Colours. Uploading a logo fills the theme colours from the logo's own colours as a starting point; you can still change them.
Saving also creates the campus's late-fee fine record, switched off, so a new branch never fines anyone until you set it up on the late fee screen.
Branding per campus
Each campus row has a theme option, so a branch can carry its own look. School-wide print stationery is separate — that is General Branding, not a campus setting.

Common confusion
"I created the campus but cannot admit a student into it." No classes are attached yet — Core › Campus-Classes.
"Do I need a second campus for morning and evening shift?" No. Shifts are handled separately; a campus is a physical branch, not a timing.
