HRM › Manage Brandings is the letterhead for HRM printouts. Each branding is one layout (which printout) for one campus, with a Header, Body and Footer written in a rich-text editor. Press Create to open HRM › Manage Brandings › Create.
The eight layouts
Individual Attendance Report, Combine Attendance Report, Salary Slip Report, Salary Signature Report, Salary Payment Report, Monthly Attendance, Salary Increment Sheet, Bank Salary Sheet. A layout with no branding prints with no letterhead.
Steps
- HRM › Manage Brandings → Create
- Module is fixed to HRM. Choose the Template Campus
- Choose the Layout — the list offers only layouts this campus does not have yet
- Press Click here to Show Tags and click a tag to copy it, e.g.
[institute_name],[campus_address],[institute_logo],[salary_month]; paste it into the header, body or footer where the live value should appear - Write the Header, Body and Footer
- Save — it stays grey until a campus and layout are chosen
To change an existing letterhead, use Edit on its row in the list; Delete removes it after a confirmation.
Tags are what make it reusable
Tags are replaced at print time with that campus's details (name, address, city, contact, email, logo, slogan). Colour tags ([color_primary]…) take the campus theme colours. The four salary tags — [salary_month], [salary_date], [cheque_no], [total_salary_amount] — are filled in only on the Bank Salary Sheet; on every other layout they print exactly as typed, so leave them out of a salary slip.
Which branding a printout uses
- A printout for one campus uses that campus's branding for the layout.
- A printout that covers staff from more than one campus (a combined salary sheet, for example) uses the oldest-created branding for that layout, whichever campus it belongs to. Give the main campus its brandings first if the mix matters to you.
- The Salary Increment Sheet always uses the branding of your first (oldest) campus, whichever campus you print it for.
Common confusion
"The Layout dropdown says no layouts available." That campus already has a branding for every layout. Go back to the list and Edit the one you want instead.
"I saved a second time and nothing new appeared." Saving the same campus + layout again updates the existing branding rather than making a duplicate.
"Where are exam and certificate letterheads?" Those are separate screens: Exam › Manage Brandings for exam printouts and Admin › Manage Certificates for certificates.
