Your internet is fine and other websites open in other tabs, but EDUBase alone stays blank, keeps loading or shows an error. There is no screen for this; most cases are fixed on the school's PC.
Check in this order
- Type www.edubaseems.com yourself and press Login there. Old bookmarks and mistyped addresses are a common cause.
- Hard-refresh (Ctrl+F5), or close every EDUBase tab and open a fresh one. A tab left open across an update shows a blank page or "You seem lost." — the app reloads itself once; if not, a fresh tab or that page's Log out button.
- Try an incognito window, then another browser. If it opens there, clear the first browser's cache and tell support which browser fails.
- Try another PC, or a phone on mobile data. Works on mobile data but not on school internet = the block is between your connection and EDUBase; report the browser and internet provider.
- Privacy or certificate warning: check the PC's date and time first; a wrong clock makes the browser distrust the site.
- Check the support WhatsApp group: planned maintenance is announced there and can last a few hours.
What the message on the screen means
- "We could not reach the login service" — the browser could not connect at all; do steps 3-4.
- "We couldn't find a school with that institute code" / "Institute code not found" for a code that always worked — the lookup was not answering; wait 5-10 minutes and retry instead of retyping the code.
- Error 522 / 5xx or a Cloudflare page — on our side; wait a few minutes.
Still not opening — report it
Report it in the support WhatsApp group (or Talk to a human from a PC where it does open): a screen recording showing the address bar and the error, your institute code, browser name, whether every PC is affected and whether mobile data works.
