Privacy Policy (www.edubaseems.com/privacy-policy) is a public, read-only page: the published privacy policy of BS SOLUTIONS, the company behind EDUBase, covering the EDUBase website and the EDUBase EMS software. It opens without logging in, so the link can be handed to parents, staff or an app store as it stands.
Does anybody else get our school's data?
"Hamara data, students aur parents ki details kisi aur ko dete ho ya bechte ho?" — the written answer on this page is:
- Selling or handing it on — the policy states that BS SOLUTIONS will not sell or give any personal information about its visitors or service users to any third party, and its opening line adds sell, lease or exchange — none of it without your express consent first
- Day-to-day sharing — "generally, we do not share this information with third parties", and what you give is described as held with the utmost care and security
- The exceptions it names — where you gave permission beforehand, or in special cases: to satisfy a law, a regulation or a government or legal request; to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone; or to protect BS SOLUTIONS itself
- Email you send — the address you write from is used only to answer that inquiry and is not passed to any third party
- Cookies — the site's own cookies do not let a third party reach your information; advertisers and partners such as Google may set their own, which the policy says BS SOLUTIONS does not control
- Data security — measures are in place against loss, misuse and alteration of the information held, and the policy says plainly that no measure can guarantee a hacker is kept out
The wording covers everyone who uses the website and EDUBase EMS — visitors, members and hosting service users — in the same words for every school. It is a published policy, not a separate agreement signed with one school.
What else is on the page
Section (a) lists what is collected, including technical details such as the IP address and the date and time of a visit, used to diagnose server problems and to keep abusers out. Section (g) reserves the right to revise the policy at any time. Below the sections sit a note that a separate Terms of Service exists and a Contact Us link on the EDUBase website for questions.
Steps
- Open www.edubaseems.com/privacy-policy in any browser — no login and no privilege needed
- Read or print it like any web page, or copy the address from the browser bar to send it on
Common confusion
"Why does our school's own header show at the top?" If you open the page while logged in on that browser, it prints your school's result-card branding header above the policy text. Anyone opening it without a login sees the EDUBase logo instead.
"Can we edit it or add our school's policy?" No. It is a fixed EDUBase document with no settings, no form and nothing to save. It is not the place for a school's own rules for parents — those go in your own notices or the diary.
"Is this the Terms of Service?" No. The page only mentions that a separate Terms of Service exists; it does not show it.
What it does NOT do
Nothing on this page changes any setting or record, and it does not control which parents can see marks or fees in the app — that is General › Parent App Privileges. If your school needs something this published policy does not cover, ask on Talk to a human.
