Open Lecture Register
Go to HRM → Salary → Lecture Register. Classic opens first unless you saved another choice. Try the new layout and View old layout switch both ways; Make this my default or Make old layout my default saves your own institute-specific lecture workflow choice shared with Rates and Summary. Explicit links override it for the visit; failed saves keep the previous default with Retry. Switching layouts retains the same mounted entry/import/edit drafts and does not save them.
Original lectures and approval
Salary month, Campus, Teacher and Status keep the original automatic query; there is no Generate button. Create, Edit, confirmed Delete, import from attendance, carry forward, recurrence, rate override and original validation retain their existing requests and defaults. Paid entries remain locked. Approval is a separate original permission. Manual selection, Approve and Reject use all selected unpaid loaded IDs across search and pages, retaining the original eligibility and consent. Loading the page creates or approves nothing.
Review and browser Print
Local search and paging change only the review grid. Browser Print retains the complete original loaded register, filter controls and server summary, independent of grid search or page. No sorting, export or dedicated Print action is added. Rates, Register and Summary link to their optional views with the same saved workflow choice.
Pending and Retry
Loading, saving, invalid months or failed list/choice requests block stale row and form callbacks, hide stale Print and keep unsaved drafts. Retry repeats the original failed query or choice request. Existing CRUD and Lecture Approval permissions, paid-salary locks and server messages remain authoritative; changing layout grants no access or send operation.
