Open the selected receipt preview
Open Admissions → Paid Challans, check the paid rows you need, and use the original Print Thermal option. This preview uses those selected rows. With no selected rows, it keeps the original return to Paid Challans. It does not fall back to the whole list.
Choose your view
Classic opens first unless you save another default. Try the new layout and View old layout switch both ways. The three paid receipt previews share this choice. A layout in the page address takes priority for that visit. Failed default saves retain your previous choice and offer Retry. Switching here retains current inputs, selected receipt cards and the page address. It does not receive, delete or change a payment.
Original paper and selection
Thermal keeps the original receipt dates, receipt numbers, positive payment details, selected-row grouping and narrow paper design. Print uses the original receipt cards and paper layout. No new export, search, sorting or paging action is added. This choice changes the preview around the paper; it does not change amounts, receipt grouping or printer scaling.
Loading and settings recovery
The original loading message remains while receipt settings load. If settings fail, the new view shows a warning and Retry settings calls the original settings read. The original preview remains available after that failure. The view switch does not save settings. Printer margins, scaling and real paper output still need the usual preview check.
