Parent-Teacher Meetings: from scheduling to the report

The three PTM screens, the order they are used in, and what reaches the parents app.

Three screens, used in this order

  1. General › PTM Events — the whole occasion, e.g. "1st Term PTM 2026-27".
  2. General › PTM — one class's sitting inside that event.
  3. Evaluation — what was said about each child.

Setting one up

  1. Open PTM Events and press New PTM Event. Give it a name and the dates. It is saved as a Draft — nobody is told yet.
  2. Open PTM and press Create for each class: the campus, class, sections, groups, sessions and genders, the date, which event it belongs to, and which teachers are holding it — pick as many as will actually be sitting in the room.
  3. Go back to PTM Events and press Publish.

When two teachers share a meeting

Pick both. Every teacher you add sees the meeting in their own teacher app and can record attendance, remarks and subject performance in it — they are writing into the same meeting, not separate copies. The first teacher you pick is the one the PTM Report names as holding it. Removing a teacher from the list takes the meeting out of their app.

What each teacher records

Who came and their relation, the contact number of the person who actually turned up, what was discussed, the child's strengths, weak areas and areas for improvement, an overall grade, and the performance subject by subject. Where the school has switched recording on, the teacher can record the meeting and get the notes written automatically — to check and correct before saving.

Reading it back

General › PTM Report puts every event side by side: attendance rate per class, which subjects came up weak, the list of families who did not come, and the feedback parents sent. The owner app carries the same figures, with the recordings playable.
