Pressing Publish is what messages parents
An event stays a Draft until you publish it, so you can build it over several days without telling anybody. Publish notifies every family in scope, and cannot be undone. The confirmation tells you how many families that is before you commit. If you do not want any notification, untick Notify parents before publishing.
A second, separate notification goes to one family when their child's evaluation is saved — once only, so correcting a spelling later does not message them again.
A teacher who cannot see their PTM
The teacher app shows a teacher only the meetings assigned to them. A meeting with nobody assigned appears for no one — "unassigned" does not mean "everybody's". Open General › PTM, press Edit, and set Teacher holding the meeting.
What the parents app shows
Attendance, who came, the overall grade, what was discussed, strengths, weak areas, areas for improvement, suggestions, and the subject-wise marks. The Complaint box is never shown to parents — it is your note to the school about the family. A teacher can also withhold one report by unticking Share with parent before saving.
Feedback from parents
A parent can rate the meeting and write a comment, but only if the teacher recorded them as having attended, and only while the event's feedback window is open. They can change their answer until it shuts. Replies appear on PTM Report › Parent feedback.
Recording a meeting
Off by default. It has to be switched on for the school and ticked on the event before the record button appears in the teacher app. The audio is kept exactly as recorded, so it can be played back if what was said is ever disputed. Tell the parent before you record them.
Who can open what
Five separate permissions under Admin › Users & Privileges › General: PTM — Events & Settings, PTM — Meetings, PTM — Evaluations, PTM — Voice Notes and PTM — Reports. Your Super Admin holds all five and can pass any of them on. Voice Notes is separate on purpose: a teacher can record a meeting without every clerk being able to listen to all of them.
