Allow location when signing in to EDUBase

Allow a fresh location check on each sign-in. Choosing Deny stops sign-in; technical failures are marked and allow it to continue. Retry asks again.

Allow location when you sign in

Every new sign-in to the EDUBase website, Teacher App or Owner App asks your browser or phone for a fresh location reading. Allow Location when asked. A remembered permission can let the device get a new reading without another popup; an earlier sign-in's reading is not reused.

If you choose Deny

Choosing Deny or Don't allow for location stops that sign-in. Allow Location in your browser's site permissions or the app's phone permissions, then choose Retry. Retry and reloading request location again.

If location does not work

If the browser cannot ask because an embedded page blocks location, the reading times out or is unavailable, the phone's location service is off, or the location-save response is lost, EDUBase can finish sign-in with a clearly marked technical location failure. A technical failure is not recorded as your consent or as a location reading.

EDUBase never invents coordinates, reuses an old reading for a new sign-in or replaces a missing device reading with an IP-based location. If a Deny message remains, check the permission and use Retry to start a fresh request.

Your school settings are separate

Your sign-in check does not edit the school's campus name or address. Change school details in Institute Setup → School & campuses. Changing an address does not fix a device permission error.
