Open Create Salary Plan
Open HRM → Salary → Create Salary Plan. Salary is the menu heading above the existing link.
Choose your layout
Classic opens first unless you save another default. Try the new layout and View old layout switch both ways. A layout in the page address takes priority for that visit. Failed default saves keep the previous choice and offer Retry. Switching views retains current inputs and the page address; it does not save salary settings.
Original salary scope
Create and Update share this layout choice. Keep the original campus and employee filters, server pages, employee checkboxes and complete salary fields. Save Salary Plan saves only checked employees and still requires at least one selection. Earnings, deductions, attendance rules, increment choices and lecture salary options keep their original calculations and permissions. A new server response reseeds the form as before; switching layouts keeps the current draft.
Original Print scope
Native Print retains the original rendered scope. The salary setup grid and data controls remain hidden on paper. The separate increment-sheet preview is available on Update only; no sheet action, Excel or PDF action is added to Create.
Loading and recovery
Protected data controls are disabled during required reads or Save. Retry salary plan reads retries exact failed active reads. Existing loading and failure messages remain, with a previous successful body retained but hidden until recovery. Save Salary Plan remains the original separate action.
