Student Notes
Open General → Student Notes. Choose a date, campus, class, sections and subjects. For each selected subject, enter a Header and write text, attach multimedia, or both. Supported attachments include images, audio, video, PDF and Office documents; up to 10 new files per subject and 20 MB per file. Save makes the note available in the Parents App for children in the selected class and sections. Saving never sends SMS, WhatsApp, email or app push notifications.
Report and review
Select the campus and date range, then Generate Report. Edit retains the original date, class, sections and existing attachments. Saving an edit changes only the selected notes. Delete asks for confirmation and removes Student Notes only; Student Diary and Vacation Work are preserved. Reports show at most 500 records; narrow the date range if more exist.
Teacher App
In Teacher App 7.5.9 or later, open Student Management → Student Notes. Choose an assigned class and subject card. Enter a Header and text or multimedia, then Save. Teachers can edit their own notes for today; previous days are read-only. Class and subject assignments follow the existing diary setup. If the school requires teacher review, the note stays pending and hidden from parents. A staff member holding Student Notes access can open the note in the web report, review it and use Edit → Save to approve it. Later teacher changes require review again when school policy requires it.
Parents App
In Parents App 12.2.12 or later, select the child and open Academics → Student Notes. The note header, text and attachments appear after any required review. Refresh or reopen the list to see new notes. Older Notes based on classwork remain available. Daily classwork and homework continue in Diary; holiday work is in Vacation Work.
Access
A school administrator grants General → Student Notes through Users & Privileges. The grant is separate from Student Diary and Vacation Work and follows its allowed campus list. Teacher App uses the signed-in teacher’s assigned classes; Parents App uses the selected child and the school’s existing Diary app privilege.
