Vacation Work
Open General → Vacation Work. Choose a date, campus, class, sections and subjects. Each subject has one Vacation Work text editor and a multimedia file picker. Save text, files, or both. Supported attachments include images, audio, videos, PDF and Office documents, up to 10 new files per subject and 20 MB per file.
Review and edit
Choose a campus and date range in Vacation Work Report, then Generate Report. Edit changes the text and adds attachments while retaining existing files. The original date and class stay fixed. Delete removes only Vacation Work and preserves any Student Diary content in a historical mixed record.
Teacher and parent apps
In the updated Teacher App, open Student Management → Vacation Work. Choose an assigned class card and write text or attach files. Teachers retain their diary class assignments, today-only editing and school review requirement. Vacation Work has a Save action; it does not send SMS or app notifications. Work awaiting school review is not shown to parents until approved in the existing diary review workflow. Parents open Academics → Vacation Work for the selected child. Older Vacation Work records remain visible.
Separate from Student Diary
Student Diary creation now has Classwork and Homework only. Vacation Work is created and maintained in its own section. Editing or deleting regular diary content preserves historical Vacation Work. The existing Student Diary screen remains reachable from the Vacation Work page.
Access
A school administrator grants General → Vacation Work in Users & Privileges. The separate teacher screen uses the teacher’s existing assigned classes. Parent access follows the school’s Diary app privilege.
