Open Visitor Profile
Open the existing visitor profile from General → Front Desk → Register Visitor or another original visit link.
Choose your layout
Classic opens first unless you save another default. Try the new layout and View old layout switch both ways. A layout in the page address takes priority for that visit. Failed default saves keep your previous choice and offer Retry. Switching on this page keeps the current inputs and page address. Other links keep their original destinations.
Original scope
Read the original visit details, flag warning and returned person-wide visit history. Adding a note appends the original text and does not change a visit status. The event preview shows the latest six entries; Full timeline opens the existing complete event log. Browser Print keeps the original rendered details and history. A layout switch does not add a note.
Loading and recovery
The new layout disables data controls during required reads, searches or saves. Failed required reads hide stale content and offer Retry for the failed read. A note draft stays visible and disabled during a pending save and is retained through both layouts. Original permissions remain unchanged.
