Go to Core › Classes, type the name in the box at the top and press Create. The list below shows what you have.
Add several at once
Saari classes ek sath add karni hain? The box accepts a comma separated list, so the whole ladder goes in at one time:
Nursery, Prep, One, Two, Three, Four, Five
If any one name is rejected, none are saved — the batch is rolled back together. Fix the offending name and submit again.
Then attach it to a campus
This is the step that catches everyone. Creating the name does not put it on any campus. Until you tick it on Core › Campus-Classes, it will not be offered when you admit a student or take attendance.
Nayi class banai hai aur woh kahin show nahi ho rahi — the name is saved; what is missing is the campus tick, so the class shows nowhere outside this list until you tick it.
Names must be unique
Two entries cannot share a name. If the same one is taught at two campuses, create it once and tick it for both on Core › Campus-Classes.
Why one will not delete
The system refuses to remove an entry that is in use, and says which way:
- already linked with students — children are sitting in it
- already linked with challans — it was used on issued paperwork, which is kept
Either way you can still take it out of use: untick it for every campus on Core › Campus-Classes.
Editing
The pencil on a row loads it into the form at the top. Change the name and press Update. Renaming is safe — records follow the entry, they do not point at its old text.
