Core › Fee Particulars in Fee Plan List is where a charge becomes part of a plan. You get one table per campus; down the side are that branch's fee plans, across the top are your charges. Tick a box to put that charge into that plan; each ticked particular can then appear as its own line on the challan.
Each box takes effect on the click, with nothing to submit afterwards.
Steps
- Go to Core › Fee Particulars in Fee Plan List
- Go to the table for the campus you are setting up
- Find the fee plan row
- Tick every charge that plan should contain — tuition fee, admission fee, transport, and so on
Putting every charge into one plan
The yellow All Particulars switch at the start of a plan's row pulls in every charge you have defined. For a full-price plan that is faster than ticking each one; untick afterwards whatever does not apply.
The next step is not optional
Ticking a charge into a plan does not give it a price. Go to Core › Particulars Amount and Repeating Months and set the amount and the months for each one, or the challan will show that charge as zero.
Where the charge names come from
The list of columns is Core › Fee Particulars. Add a new charge there first if the column you want is missing. Some particulars are built in and marked Default — those cannot be edited or deleted, but they can be ticked into plans like any other.
Common confusion
"A fee plan row is missing from a campus table." The plan is not ticked for that campus — fix it on Core › Manage Fee Plan Lists in Campus.
"Challan mein particular nahi aa raha." First check this grid: a charge that is not ticked into the plan never reaches that plan's challan, whatever it is called elsewhere.
"It is ticked and the challan still does not show it." Then it has no amount, or no month ticked, for that plan — Core › Particulars Amount and Repeating Months.
