Particular Fee Report — one of the report buttons across the top of the Dashboard — answers "how much of what we collected was tuition, how much was transport, how much was the annual charge". It is a money summary, not a student list.
Pick a From and To date, press Generate Report, and you get one block per campus: every fee head with Received and Discount against it, a total row for the campus, and a grand total for the school.
Steps
- Open the Dashboard
- Press Particular Fee Report in the row of report buttons
- Set From and To — Generate Report stays disabled until both are set
- Press Generate Report, then print if you need it on paper
What the two columns mean
- Received — money actually taken against that head between the two dates
- Discount — concession given against that head in the same window
Both are counted by the payment date, not by the challan's month. So a parent who pays April's fee in June appears in a June report, and the same collection never falls in two windows.
The distinction that trips people up
This report and Day Wise Paid Challans answer different questions, and the yellow note on the page says so: this one totals whole months inside the duration you picked, while Day Wise Paid Challans lists the individual days you chose.
And it is not the class-wise report: for a student-by-student list of who has paid and who still owes one particular, use Admissions › Class Wise Fee Particular Report. This screen never names a child — it only adds money up.
Common confusion
"A head shows zero." Nothing was received against it in that date range at that campus. Check the dates first, then whether that head is in the fee plans at all (Core › Fee Particulars in Fee Plan List).
"The totals do not match my fee register." The report counts what was received, discount separately — a challan raised but unpaid contributes nothing until it is paid.
