Gender options are fixed as Male and Female on student forms. The Genders create, edit and delete screen has been retired; old Genders links return home. Religion, nationality, mother tongue and guardian relation remain reference lists under Core:

How the editable reference lists work
- Open the screen from the Core menu
- Press Create
- Type the name and save
- The option now appears on the admission and student edit forms
Each row also has View and Update actions, so an entry can be corrected without being removed.
If an option will not delete
The system keeps any entry that students are using — deleting it would blank that field on their records. If you no longer want an option offered, correct it with Update rather than deleting, or simply leave it in the list.
Common confusion
"The option is added but the form still shows the old list." Refresh the page. These lists are cached briefly after they load.
"Can I reorder them?" No — they appear in the order they were created.
