Where is the PTM Report — how many parents came, who did not come, and how does this term's PTM compare with last term's?

Where in EDUBase: General › PTM Report

Last updated

General › PTM Report is where a finished PTM is read — jo meetings ho chuki hain un ka poora hisaab kahan milega. Pick an event from the dropdown at the top; the table above it lists every PTM event side by side, so this term and last term sit on adjacent rows.

What the report shows

  • Every PTM, side by side — meetings held, students in scope, parents who came, attendance %, evaluations written, and the number of feedback responses with their average rating. Click a row to switch the whole report to that event.
  • The four cards — what the head asks first, is baar kitne aaye aur kaun nahi aaya: students in scope, parents who came, did not come, evaluations written.
  • How parents left the meeting — the sentiment mix from the How the parent seemed dropdown.
  • By class — each class meeting with its teacher named, its attendance rate, and how many evaluations were written.
  • By subject — which subjects teachers marked strong and which need work, across the whole event.
  • Who did not come — the follow-up list, with the father/guardian's name and number.
  • Parent feedback — what parents wrote afterwards.

Nothing is typed on this report. It reads what the teachers recorded in Evaluation, so an event whose evaluations were never filled in has an empty report.

Two numbers people misread

"Did not come" includes families nobody recorded. A row a teacher never touched counts as not attended, because there is no evidence anyone was seen. If the figure looks too high, check whether the evaluations were actually filled in — the Evaluations written card tells you.

"By subject" only counts subjects a teacher actually rated. A short list means the subject grid was left blank, not that the school teaches few subjects.

Attendance means Present, and only Present

Absent, Absent due to reason, Visit Before and Visit Later are all "did not come". A parent who asked to come another day has not attended yet, so counting them would tell a school its PTM went better than it did.

Not the same as the printed sheet

This report is the whole event's statistics. The class-by-class sheet you print and carry into the meeting is the Print button on General › PTM, and the permission for this screen is its own: PTM — Reports in Admin › Users & Privileges.
