It is there now. A payslip for someone on lecture-wise salary lists a Lecture-Wise Earnings block inside Earnings — one line per class, section and subject, showing the lectures, the rate and the amount, then the total.
If you were seeing a wrong figure before
On older versions, Pay/Print Salary and Salary Details rebuilt Earnings from the salary plan only. For a lecture-wise teacher that meant the lecture money was left out of Earnings and out of Net Salary, even though it was correctly included in what was actually paid. Two visible symptoms:
- Earnings and Net Salary far lower than the teacher was really owed
- Remaining reporting the payment as an overpayment, because the screen was comparing the real payment against a total that had the lecture money missing
Nothing was ever paid wrongly — the money was right, the display was not. Reprint the month and the figures now agree.
Where the lecture total appears
- Payslip — the Lecture-Wise Earnings breakdown, inside Earnings
- Pay/Print Salaries grid — a Lecture Salary column, included in the totals row
- Printed Salary Report — the same column in the Earnings block, in the group totals and in the Overall Grand Total, and in the Excel export
The column only appears when at least one person on that report actually has lecture money, so an ordinary school's payroll report is not filled with a column of zeroes.
An old month reprints as it was paid
The breakdown is read from the figures frozen when that salary was generated, never recalculated. Raise a rate today and last May's slip still reprints exactly as it was paid. That is the same rule the Lecture-Wise Salary Report follows for a Paid row.
Common confusion
"The Basic Salary line is zero." That is correct for a lecture-wise person who is not also paid their plan earnings — the lectures are the salary. A zero is the honest record; the earlier behaviour of printing a full monthly Basic beside a much smaller total was the bug.
"There is no Lecture Salary column on my report." Nobody in that selection has lecture money, or the people you expect are not actually ticked onto lecture-wise salary — check HRM › Salary › Update Salary Plan.
"The amount does not match the Lecture Register." Only approved lectures are paid, and lectures with no rate count as zero. Open the teacher's card on the register for the month.
