An EDUBase training session is a live online class — the "online lecture" or demo a school books when it starts or when new staff join. It is not a screen in the software: a support person shares their screen on a video call and guides you through your own portal while you ask questions.
How it is delivered
- Over Google Meet: support sends a
meet.google.comlink in your school's EDUBase WhatsApp group at the agreed time. Join it on a laptop; nothing to install. - Keep your portal signed in on that laptop, so you practise on your own data during the lecture.
- Training runs 9:00 AM–5:00 PM on working days and ends with a Session Completed message.
Steps to schedule one
- Ask in the WhatsApp group, or press Talk to a human in this assistant — say which module (admissions, fees, exams, HRM…) and when you are free.
- Support confirms a time inside 9:00–17:00 and sends the Meet link.
- Join on a laptop with the portal signed in.
Talk to a human raises one support ticket for the chat, shows who took it and by when they will reply (inside office hours); pressing it twice does not raise a second ticket.
Recordings and self-study
Your own session is not recorded. The tutorial videos are on EDUBase's YouTube channel — https://www.youtube.com/@EDUBaseCloudSoftware — and under Support in the portal's top bar; the assistant never links a video from anywhere else.

"Lecture" here means the training class, not per-lecture teacher pay (HRM › Salary).
