Exam & Att (formerly Exam & Attendance) › Attendance Report › Combine Day Wise Attendance Report draws a filled register: students down the side, one column per date, and the status code (P, A, L, OL…) in each cell, with a total per status at the right — har student ke naam ke saamne har din ka status dikhata hai. It is the marked attendance — the blank paper version is the Attendance Sheet.
Steps
- Pick Campus and Class, optionally Section, Gender, Group/Discipline, and at least one Session (required, as on Combine Attendance Report).
- Set From and To — the range must be at most 31 days, i.e. one month (ek mahine se zyada nahi), and at least two days (the To date has to be after the From date). Defaults are the 1st and last day of this month.
- Press Get Report; Print appears once it has loaded.
Reading the grid
- A legend at the top explains each code your school has switched on.
- One column per calendar day in the range — Fridays, Saturdays and holidays included. An empty cell means nobody marked that student that day; it is not an absence.
- The Total block on the right counts each code for the student across the columns shown.
- Section, gender, group and session narrow the students exactly as on the Combine Attendance Report; nothing selected in Section means every section of the class.
- The class and section names, and the From/To, are printed in the grid header.
Common confusion
"Day wise detail is available for date ranges up to 31 days." Split a longer period into month-sized runs, or use the Combine Attendance Report, which has no cap because it shows totals only.
"I picked one day and got an error." Choose a range of at least two days; for a single day the Attendance Summary is the right report.
"No attendance data found." Nothing is marked for those students in that range — check the Session picked and whether the register was taken (Attendance Summary shows Marked/Unmarked per class).
"I only need totals and percentages." Use the Summary Report button in the top-right corner — it opens Combine Attendance Report; the filters are not carried across, so pick them again there.
