Extras › Roll No. Slip opens the Assign Roll No, Exam Hall screen. Roll numbers and halls are assigned there first, and the slips are printed from the same place afterwards.

Steps
- Go to Extras › Roll No. Slip
- Filter to the class and section you are seating and tick the students
- Fill Roll No. Slip Name, Date and Exam Time at the top (they print on the slip and are remembered for next time)
- Assign Roll Numbers and Assign Exam Hall as needed
- Pick the slip layout for the campus, then Print — this opens Print Roll No Slip
Do this before the datesheet goes out
A roll number slip usually carries the datesheet with it, so create the datesheet first on Extras › Date Sheet › Create, then assign roll numbers, then print. Printing before the datesheet exists gives a slip with nothing to sit for.
The Assign Exam Hall page
Clicking Assign Exam Hall with students ticked opens a small page, Assign Exam Hall To Selected Students: choose Campus, then Exam Class and Exam Section, and press Update. The exam class and section are a separate seating label — the student's real class and section are not touched. Together they show as the Exam Hall column on the Roll No. Slip grid (for example 9th-B) and fill the exam hall tag when the slip layout carries one.
The same page is on Extras › Students By User as its own Assign Exam Hall button. It also exists under Admissions › Manage Students, Extras › All Students and Admissions › Admission Queries, but those three lists have no button for it today — start from Extras › Roll No. Slip instead. Update is disabled until both Exam Class and Exam Section are chosen; the assignment is written to each student's Change Log.
Common confusion
"Students are missing from the slip." They have no roll number assigned yet, or they are inactive.
"Roll numbers came out in the wrong order." They follow the order the screen assigned them in — sort the list the way you want before assigning.
"The slip has no exam details." No datesheet exists for that class yet.
"The Exam Hall column is empty." No exam class/section has been assigned to those students yet — tick them and use Assign Exam Hall.
