Every student list has a Blank Form button. It opens an empty admission form on screen so you can print it and give it to a parent to fill by hand. Nothing is saved — it is only a printout.
Steps
- Go to Admissions › Manage Students
- Click Blank Form in the button row above the grid
- The empty form opens; print it with your browser's Print (Ctrl+P)
- Print as many copies as the office needs

Which form you get depends on where you click
- From Admissions › Manage Students the printout is your school's own Admission Form Blank layout — the header, body and footer you designed under Exam › Manage Brandings, with your logo and campus colours filled in.
- From Admissions › Admission Queries it is the Admission Query Blank layout from the same Brandings screen — an enquiry form rather than an admission form.
- From Extras › All Students and Extras › Students By User it is a fixed built-in form titled Student Admission Form: a photo box, then Student Personal Information, Visitor Info, Previous Qualification, Family Information, Office Information and Board Information — the same headings as the on-screen admission form, so a filled sheet is easy to type in later.
"No Brandings Found!" when you click Blank Form
This appears on Manage Students or Admission Queries when your school has never created that layout (if the layout could not be fetched at all, the message reads "Failed to load blank form template"). The page shows the message and sends you back to the list. Either create the Admission Form Blank (or Admission Query Blank) layout under Exam › Manage Brandings, or use Extras › All Students › Blank Form for the built-in version, which needs no template.
Printing one student's filled admission form
To print a student's own admission / registration form — filled with their details — go to Admissions › Manage Students, open the Actions (cog) button on that student's row and choose Print Layout 1 or Print Layout 2. Support usually recommends Print Layout 2. The same options are on Extras › All Students, Extras › Students By User and Admissions › Admission Queries.
Good to know
- On Manage Students the button is greyed for users who lack the right to add students; the other three lists offer it to everyone.
- A blank form is not a certificate and is not recorded anywhere — Certificates Logs stay untouched.
- The Print Layout 1 / Print Layout 2 options on a student's cog menu are the opposite thing: the same form printed filled with that student's details.
