Where do I print student QR codes?

Extras › Student QR Code. Filter to the class or section you need and print the codes.

The QR code is what the QR Attendance app scans to mark a child present, so these are usually printed onto student cards.

The QR attendance chain

Printing the code is one step of three:

1. Extras › Student QR Code — print the codes onto cards
2. Admin › QR Biometric Attendance — register the device that will scan them and set the attendance settings
3. The QR Attendance app on the device — scan

A code that will not scan is far more often a device not registered than a bad print.

Common confusion

"The app scans but nothing is marked." The scanning device is not on the school's allowed device list. Add it in the QR attendance settings.

"Do I reprint codes every year?" No. A student's code stays with them; reprint only when a card is lost or damaged.
