Open the report
Open Exam & Attendance → Attendance Summary. Existing access remains unchanged.
Choose your layout
Classic opens first unless you save another default. Use Try the new layout or View old layout to switch. A layout in the page address takes priority for that visit. Failed default saves keep the previous choice and offer Retry. Switching views keeps your page address and current choices; it does not apply filters, save changes or print a report.
Choose a date
Select Attendance Date, then choose Get Summary to apply it. Changing the date alone does not load that report date. Read the class-wise and section-wise summaries for the selected date.
Read attendance totals
The columns follow the attendance codes active for your school. Each code shows its count and percentage. The report keeps the existing campus totals, marked and unmarked counts, and date-based student scope. A layout switch does not change the counts or calculations.
Print or save an image
Use the existing Print or Save class wise image and section-wise image controls for the report you need. Campus controls keep their original campus scope. Print uses the chosen class or section report and its existing branding. Saving an image is a separate action from Print and from switching views.
If report reads fail
In the new view, Retry attendance summary reads retries only failed class-wise or section-wise report reads. Campus names and branding keep their existing fallback behavior. The original loading and empty messages remain in place.
Keep your place
Switching views keeps your selected date, report date and report sections. Loading, empty results and branding fallbacks keep their existing meaning. It does not fetch a different date, print or save an image automatically.
