Update the school record
Open Admissions → Manage Students → Edit Student. Correct the student's name, father or guardian name, photo, or contact numbers and save the record.
See the change in the Parents App
In Parents App 12.2.7 or later → Home, the child's name and photo refresh after the school saves its changes. An open child screen follows the same student even when another child is removed from the list. Allow the update to finish; a temporary connection problem can delay the refresh.
When a phone number changes
The child is removed from a phone that is no longer recorded as the parent's contact. If the mother's number still matches that phone, the child remains linked. Other children on the phone stay visible. The new number receives the child's profile alongside its existing children.
Phone-specific sign-in and notification details remain with that phone. Changing a contact number does not transfer another person's credentials.
If the open child is removed
The app keeps the selected child while it is still linked. If the last linked child is removed while its screen is open, the app returns to Home. The school must correct the contact record before that phone can access the child again.
