Exam & Att (formerly Exam & Attendance) › Student Attendance › Attendance Sheet prints a paper register: one row per active student, one empty column per day, for a teacher to fill by hand — the empty sheet a school means when mahine ki attendance sheet nikalni ho for a class. It does not print the attendance already marked in the system — for that use the Attendance Report screens.
Steps
- Pick Campus (required). Class, Section, Gender, Group/Discipline and Session are optional — nothing selected means all. Use the Select All / Deselect All links on each box.
- Set From and To (default: 1st of this month to today). One column is printed per day in that range.
- Choose Sort Order (Reg No. wise is the default; Roll No wise), and Print Sheet Section Wise (default) or Group Wise — each section or group starts on a new page.
- Tick Roll No / Reg No under Show/Hide if you want those columns; both are hidden unless ticked.
- Show Dates: Saturday is included by default, Sunday is left out. Untick or tick to match your school week.
- Extra Blank Rows (default 3) adds empty numbered rows for late admissions; Extra Columns (default
Prev,Curr,Total) adds named totals columns — separate names with commas. - Press Generate Attendance Sheet, then Print. The sheet opens in a new tab; if the pop-up is blocked, the on-page sheet is printed instead.
After generating
- Page orientation (Landscape / Portrait) sits next to Print. Landscape is the default and matches the wide day-column layout; switch to Portrait before printing if you want a taller page. The choice sets the print
@pagesize — if your browser print dialog still shows the other orientation, change Layout there to match, or leave it on Default so the sheet's@pagerule wins. - Hide Father Name and Hide Father Contact are screen-only switches on the generated sheet — flip them before pressing Print.
- Each page shows Class, Section (or Group), the date range and a Teacher's Signature line.
- The header, body and footer come from Exam › Manage Brandings for that campus (layout Attendance Sheet). No branding saved means a plain sheet.
Common confusion
"A class is missing from the Class list." The list shows classes attached to that campus that have at least one active student.
"Left students are printing." Only students marked active are listed; mark leavers inactive on Manage Students first.
