Exam & Att (formerly Exam & Attendance) › Attendance Report › Family SMS Report is the log of the family-level fee-paid message — created when you pay a family's challans on Admissions › Familywise Payment with Pay Challan/s & Send SMS. Family ki fee jama karne par parents ko jo message gaya, uska record yahan dekhen. Student-wise fee, attendance and marks messages are on the SMS Report, not here.
What gets logged
- One message goes to each father and/or mother number (as ticked on the payment screen) of the students in that family; a number shared by two children gets one copy. One row per number.
- The text is fixed: "Dear Parents, Your family fee has been paid successfully." followed by Family No, Total Payable, Paid, Remaining and Paid Date. It comes from no template and cannot be edited.
- Family = the family number. Campus = the campus of the student whose number was used — the campus the SMS App phone must have selected to collect it.
Reading a row
- SMS Status: Not Set = waiting for the SMS App phone; Sent = the phone reported it sent; Disabled = held back on purpose. Device ID and Send_at fill in once collected. API Response says APP SMS, WhatsApp SMS, or the branded gateway's reply. Filters, sort, Excel / PDF and Refresh work as on the other SMS reports.
- A row sent through a Branded gateway has no checkbox — nothing was queued for it, so nothing can be disabled or deleted.
Actions (tick rows first)
- Disable Selected SMS — a queued message the phone has not yet picked up is never sent.
- Delete Selected SMS — removes the log row and the queued message after a confirmation.
- Delete Sent SMS — removes every already-sent family fee-paid message and its log in one go, after a confirmation. No undo.
- Resend SMS — on this screen it does not re-queue a family message, even when the toast says success. To send the receipt text again (fee paid wala SMS dobara bhejna ho), use SMS Blaster with that number.
- Send Testing SMS — queues a test to the number you type, but its log row lands on HRM › Employee Extras › SMS Report, not here.
Common confusion
"I paid a family and nothing is here." The payment used plain Pay Challan/s rather than Pay Challan/s & Send SMS, or the students have no father/mother number for the contact you ticked.
"Status stays Not Set." No SMS App phone has this campus selected (see the phone's Campus: … line, tap Change after stopping the service), or the phone is off.
